O: Total Eclipse Viewing and Texas Sightseeing Tour

Join us for this 8 day 7 night sun and moon adventure with a tour of highlights of Texas. We will see the total eclipse of the sun in this rare appearance over the United States in 2024. The last one in the continental US happened in 2017 that we saw on our Wyoming trip.We will be sightseeing and a little hiking in Texas. In Dallas, we plan to see the Dallas World Aquarium and the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. In Austin, we will do the state capital tour and visit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. In San Antonio, we will take a River Walk Cruise, visit the Alamo, the San Antonio Missions National Historical site, a UNESCO world heritage site, the San Fernando Cathedral and Spanish Governors Palace. We also plan a brief stop to Brazos Bend State Park where we may see alligators, deer, and lots of different birds. The tour ends in Houston where we plan to visit the Houston Space Center and may do the Houston downtown underground city tour. We also plan to sample some of the famous Texas barbeque and ice cream. We will be seeing the Total Eclipse in a smaller Texas town that is on the centerline.Price includes, 7 nights lodging (2 Persons, 2 beds per room) with Bus, Admission to sightseeing places, Bus Refreshments, Farewell Dinner, and more.
