Tiffany Bottoms Train Ride and Birding

Saturday, May 4, 2024 – 7 am to noon:

Enjoy a train ride and birding outing in the Tiffany Wildlife Area with the Chippewa Motor Car Assn (CVMCA).  The Tiffany Wildlife Area has a diverse wildlife habitat on over 13,000 acres and contains one of the state's largest, contiguous bottomland hardwood forests. Enjoy the scenery from the small, open-air train cars and learn about the 75 species of birds seen in this area from an avid and experienced birder, with stops for short walks into floodplain forests, wetlands, savannas, and prairie.

Attendees must register and pay for this outing by April 15, 2024. Send attendees' names and payment of $20.00 per person to Chippewa Valley Sierra Club, c/o Margo Miller, Treasurer, 1500 State St, Apt 2, Eau Claire, WI  54701.

Directions:  From Durand, south on State Hwy 25, for about 3 miles to a parking area on your right just north of Thibodeau Rd---There will be signs. (WI 25 north of Thibodeau Rd, Durand)
