The executive committee is composed of volunteers elected by their fellow Bay Chapter members to oversee essential functions for the entire chapter. Among other responsibilities, the Chapter Executive Committee sets local conservation policy, endorses political candidates, and administers programs and activities. Elected volunteer leaders also serve on the Executive Committees of our eight regional groups.

Sierra Club meetings are open to Sierra Club members and invited guests. Meetings are not open to the public or members of the working press, and may not be reported publicly.
