Join the Delaware Chapter for our first-ever overnight camping experience and waterfall hikes! You must reserve your campground at the following link: https://www.campspot.com/book/dingmans-campground

Campsites are first come first served, as we have no control over the campground.

Our Chapter Director, Dustyn Thompson, will be there from Friday, August 2nd, at 3:00PM to Sunday, August 4th, at 12:00PM. You can reserve a campsite (tent or RV) anytime during this window. Dustyn's site will serve as a sort of gathering place for those interested in hanging out between hikes and meals. Dustyn's site is Forest RV Site 008. We will have some fun games to play, some music to listen to, and, of course, some great conversations.

Food and drink are NOT provided as we are not charging folks for this event. We are accepting donations as a courtesy for our work leading the hikes and organizing the event.

We will do at least one hike each day. The hikes around the site are loaded with waterfalls and range from moderate to challenging. Campers are welcome to do your own hiking as well if you'd like, but you do have to sign a release if you break away from the group for a hike while on this outing per Sierra Club policy. If you stay with us for our hikes, the release/waiver you sign when RSVPing here is enough. As we get closer to the event, we will share a daily agenda that outlines the hikes we are offering.

Please make sure to read all the rules of the campground. While we are all going to have a great time together, each party is responsible and liable for their campsite and any interaction with the campground.
