Rio Bravo Open Space Hike
Wednesday, Sep 18, 2024: Rio Bravo Open Space. 10 a.m. 1:00 p.m. Welcome to the beautiful South Valley! Rio Bravo Open Space Riverside Picnic Area provides excellent access to forest paths and river views. Well head north through the bosque about 2 miles and then head back. Meet at parking area by 9:55 a.m. Trip leader: Diane Reese, DianeAbqNM@gmail.com, 505-507-6416Level: Easy no elevation gain; mix of shaded-unshaded, flat trail, root trip hazards: walking pole if needed. Location: Rio Bravo Picnic Area, ABQ, just off Rio Bravo Blvd on the east side of river, access via Poco Loco Dr SW (turn north mile past 2nd St), parking lot is just past the Paseo del Rio apartments, north side of bridge over the Rio Grande.
