What is Mountainfilm?

Mountainfilm is a documentary film festival that showcases nonfiction stories about environmental, cultural, climbing, political and social justice issues, bringing together world-class athletes, change makers and visionary artists for a multi-dimensional celebration of indomitable spirit.

What is Mountainfilm on Tour?

Each year, the best short films from Mountainfilm’s annual festival are selected, made available in digital format to hosts for Mountainfilm on Tour, which travels year-round and worldwide. Through Mountainfilm on Tour, the festival touches the lives of over 100,000 people every year and visit more than 200 locations worldwide. The Denver event hosted by Colorado Sierra Club will include a Mountainfilm for Students component, with a free screening of the films at a high school in the Denver area.

Why should I give to Colorado Sierra Club?

Because we are awesome! Our 130,000+ members and supporters—through our organization’s resources, personal efforts, and collective action—have helped make real change in advancing climate solutions, protecting lands, air, water, and wildlife, acting for justice, and getting people outdoors. We are leading the movement of outdoor advocates and conscious consumers who share our passion for the outdoors and embrace sustainability.
