Gulfport Beach Rain Garden Planting Day

Join the Suncoast Sierra Club for a day of environmental stewardship & community collaboration as we partner with the City of Gulfport, the Tampa Bay Estuary Program, and Keep Pinellas Beautiful to build Gulfport's second rain garden! Learn about stormwater management and the importance of rain gardens while actively contributing to their creation. By planting native vegetation we beautify our surroundings, enhance water filtration, and support our local estuaries. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with your neighbors, learn about sustainable practices, and leave a lasting impact on the community! Lunch provided for all registered volunteers. Stay to enjoy the beach and park after. Registration is capped at 50 volunteers, so sign up today! This project is made possible through a Bay Mini-Grant, funded by the Tarpon Tag specialty license plate; granted by the Tampa Bay Estuary Program.
