Earth Day Energy Guide

Help our community learn about rebates and incentives to electrify and weatherize homes! Sign up for an Energy Guide shift at 2024 Earth Day Festival on April 21 at the Balloon Fiesta Park. Sierra Club volunteers will serve as Energy Guides to help people connect with Energy Experts at booths focused on electrification and rebates and tax benefits. The Zero Waste team from the Central Group will be at the Sierra Club table, and we'll need 50 or more Energy Guides in shifts throughout the day. We are going to help people save money while they increase their energy efficiency at home and on the road.Contact Outing Leader: Caroline Funk caroline.funk@sierraclub.org (505) 243-7767 with any questions.

Do you want to learn more about the Inflation Reduction Act and how to save money with electrification tax rebates and incentives?

The Sierra Club Rio Grande Chapter is partnering with many Albuquerque area groups to bring you Earth Day Festival 2024, with a focus on household electrification and how to maximize rebates and incentives. Sierra Club volunteers will serve as Energy Guides to help people connect with Energy Experts at booths focused on electrification and rebates and tax benefits.

So, serving as an Earth Day Festival Energy Guide is a great way to learn and help others at the same time. Sign up for a 2-hour Energy Guide shift at 2024 Earth Day Festival on April 21 at the Balloon Fiesta Park and help our community learn about rebates and incentives to electrify and weatherize homes.

We'll train you to be a great Energy Guide on April 11 at Noon during our usual NM Climate Corps meeting time. We'll share the shift sign up sheet that day, too! On April 18 at Noon, we'll hold a second quick review training. Use this link to register for the trainings, the Zoom link will work for both trainings. The April 11 training will be recorded

The Zero Waste and Transportation teams from the Central Group will be at the Sierra Club table, and we'll need 50 or more Energy Guides in shifts throughout the day. With your help, we aim to help thousands of our neighbors save money while they increase their energy efficiency at home and on the road! Good for our friends and neighbors - good for our environment.

Email sierraclubriogrande@gmail.com if you have any questions. Or call the office M-F 9am-4pm (505-243-7767).

Signup Instructions: You can sign up for online trainings on April 11 (noon) and April 18 (noon). The Zoom link will work for both meetings.
