We're excited to invite you to a special event honoring the retirement of our esteemed Director, Andrew Christie, who has been a guiding force behind our local Sierra Club chapter for 20 years. In recognition of his outstanding leadership and dedication to environmental advocacy, we're hosting a memorable day of celebration.

Time: Picnic starts at 11:00 AM, Tree Planting Ceremony at 1:00 PM

Location: Santa Margarita Community Park at 2210 H Street Santa Margarita, CA 93453

Potluck Picnic:

In addition to your infectious enthusiasm, please bring the following essentials:

• Potluck dishes to tantalize our taste buds (serving approximately 6 people)
• Refreshing beverages to quench our thirst for both nature and camaraderie
• Plates, utensils, cups, and napkins to keep our picnic eco-friendly
• Outdoor chairs for lounging in comfort as we savor the day
• Sunscreen to shield against the sun's rays and keep our spirits bright

Tree Planting Ceremony:

Following the picnic, we'll gather for a heartfelt Tree Planting Ceremony to commemorate Andrew's many contributions to our community and the environment. Together, we'll plant a tree as a symbol of growth, sustainability, and gratitude for his leadership.

Invite Friends and Family:

We encourage you to extend this invitation to your friends and family who are passionate about environmental conservation and may be interested in joining the Sierra Club. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce new members to our community and share our commitment to protecting nature for future generations.
