Saturday, Jun 17: ABQ-Santa Fe Rail & Bike Tour.7:30 am - 4:30 pm See the City Different in a different way by exploring the River Trail on a bike! We will ride the Railrunner from Albuquerque or meet at the station in Santa Fe for a long day excursion. 8-18 miles depending on starting point, maximum 500 feet elevation gain. Trails in Santa Fe suitable for beginner bicyclists, route in Albuquerque recommend prior city riding experience. Meet at Montgomery Park at 5703 Comanche Rd. NE (Montgomery Park) at 7:30 a.m. or at the Los Ranchos RailRunner station at 8:00 a.m, or at the Santa Fe Railyard-Stanta Fe Depot RailRunner station at 9:40 a.m..This ride is appropriate for children over the age of 16 when accompanied by parent or legal guardian. E-bikes are welcome. No dogs are allowed. Deadline for registering is June 10. Cost: There is no cost for this outing but participants will need to bring cash, credit or debit card to pay for train fare, food, drink and incidentals.

Signup Instructions: Sign-up at the link provided.

Bring: Multi-speed road, mountain or gravel bike, helmet, gloves, patch kit, pump, water, tools, snacks, money, sunscreen and wear appropriate attire. High visibility clothing or vest is strongly recommended. E-bikes are welcome. Single speed or cruiser-type bikes are not appropriate for this ride.

Signup Restrictions: Participants must be able to keep up with group at a 12-15 mph pace. This ride is appropriate for children over the age of 16 when accompanied by parent or legal guardian.

Additional Directions: Meet at Montgomery Park at 5704 Comanche Rd. NE (Montgomery Park) at 7:30 a.m. or at the Los Ranchos RailRunner station at 8:00 a.m. or the Santa Fe Depot/Railyard RailRunner Station in Santa Fe at 9:40 a.m.

Carpool: Carpooling is at participants' own risk.

Note: Carpool transportation is at the sole risk of the participants.
