The Wildlife Justice Team is the Idaho Sierra Club's volunteer-based team to help support Indigenous-led efforts for wildlife recovery in Idaho! (primarily focused on grizzlies, wolves, and salmon!)
The team meets monthly on virtual video calls, led by Sierra Club staff from Idaho and Montana.
As a member of the team, you would participate in activities such as:
- learning more about Environmental Justice and ways to show solidarity with Indigenous communities in the region
- writing comments to public agencies
- crafting Letters to the Editor
- planning public engagement events in your area
- just listening, learning, and sharing information with your friends and neighbors!
Everyone who cares about protecting wildlife in Idaho and aligns with our social justice values is welcome!
