About the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) 9.0 2025
Education & Advocacy
We are excited to announce the return of our highly successful Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP), now in its 9th edition! For 8 consecutive years, the program has provided participants with engaging educational presentations, films, and opportunities to take action. Many ESP graduates have gone on to run for local and state office or assumed leadership roles in their communities, including within the Sierra Club. This year's ESP 9.0 will focus on critical environmental issues, and we will mentor participants who choose to work on advocacy projects. We look forward to another impactful year!
STRUCTURE: Number of Meetings
There will be one monthly critical issues webinar on the first Saturday starting in early April, and 3 additional meetings each month for members who are involved in projects. There is also the opportunity to join an environmental book group as well as opportunities to participate in hikes/outings.
You can choose your level of involvement: Some of you may want to attend just the monthly critical issues webinar while others will want to work on an advocacy project and may have time as well as inclination to join the book group and hikes/outings.
