3-mile, moderate hike in forest and meadows. Sky Meadow State Park is popular at all times of years for its views, wildflowers, and trails great for walking and running. Hiking there in winter will keep the great views but reduce the crowds. Be prepared for some elevation gain (833 ft.) and a mix of woodland and open meadows, which may have cold winter breezes. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

Cost: Free, but donations are welcome

Bring: Water and snacks. Dress in layers and use footwear appropriate for the winter conditions.

Additional Directions: We will meet at the Sky Meadows SP Visitor Center. There is a $10/vehicle admission parking fee to the park.

Cancellation Policy: We will cancel for icy conditions or heavy precipitation.
