O: Trail Maintenance in the San Mateo Canyon Wilderness. Volunteers work on trails on a monthly basis -- each month the location is selected based on current needs. Hiking distances may be 4 to 7 miles round trip with up to 1000 ft of gain. Return to the trailhead is typically around 3 pm. To receive an email announcement with details of the month's activity contact John Kaiser. Additional Directions: Place the Medical Form in an envelop with your name on the outside.

Carpool: We typically meet at the south OC rideshare location (31564 Rancho Viejo Rd, San Juan Capistrano) for those who wish to carpool to the trailhead.

Note: Carpool transportation is at the sole risk of the participants.
