Join us for a leisurely 3-to-4-mile hike along the Lower Rouge Trail in Canton, a scenic linear trail system that follows the Lower Rouge River. We will hike for a couple hours on wide trails that weave through picturesque surroundings and cross the river seven times via bridges. Along the way, you'll encounter a carved totem to study and several spots with benches for a quick rest or to take in the view. This is a great way to explore the natural beauty of the Rouge River on this well-maintained trail system. Be sure to bring water and dress comfortably for the weather.
Meeting Time and Location:We’ll meet at 8:45am at the Morton Taylor Road Trailhead in Canton, Michigan. The hike will start promptly at 9:00am, so please don't be late.
