Trail Building in Girty's Woods

Learn trail building skills and help to restore Girtys Woods! We will be working at thedirection of the Allegheny Land Trust to build and maintain trails in this nature preserve inReserve Township. This adult only activity will be three hours of active work, in which wework under the direction of ALT staff to build safe, stable trails. We will learn about howrewilding of previously used lands can help native species, and offer access to nature forlarge populations. Wear sturdy shoes, bring work gloves if you have them, and prepare tohave fun and get dirty.

This adult only activity will be three hours of active work, in which we work under the direction of ALT staff to build safe, stable trails. More details will be shared with registered participants closer to the outing. This is an adult only outing and four legged friends are not allowed. Wear sturdy shoes, bring work gloves if you have them, and prepare to have fun and get dirty.
