JULY 21 –25, 2025 MONDAY – FRIDAY

O: Clark Lakes (9680’): Our campsite will be located adjacent to Clark Lake #2 in an area with tree cover. The lake will be the water source for our visit. Monday morning our mule packers will carry gear of 50 lbs. per person while we hike separately with only our daypacks. We will hike approximately 6 miles with 2800 feet gain from Frontier Pack Station (7240’), which is located near Silver Lake on the June Lake Loop near Mammoth, to our campsite at Clark Lake 2 (9810’). This area is near the JMT and PCT. Day hiking destinations include Thousand Island Lake, Lake Ediza and Garnet Lake. There are beautiful views of Ritter, Davis, and Banner Peaks from these lakes. A trip highlight might include a group hike to Carson Peak.
