Please join us at the Back Cove Trail in Portland for a clean up of the beautiful trail. One of the oldest and most popular of the trails in Portland, Back Cove offers great views of the Portland skyline. Ideal for walking, running, biking and dog walking. There are benches and two water fountains (seasonal) along the trail. Portable toilets are available in the parking areas at Preble Street Extension and Payson Park.
We will meet in the main parking lot off of Preble Street and across from Hannaford. Look for the Sierra Club banner and table. We'll have refreshments available courtesy of Two Fat Cats Bakery before the work begins!Gloves, trash bags, and a limited number of trash pickers will be available.Dress for the weather with comfortable shoes and bring your family and friends!
