O: Tue Moderate Hikers/Stunt High Trail to Saddle Peak

8 mile hike with 1700 altitude gain. August can be hot. Out and Back hike, Up lower Stunt High Trail to Upper Stunt High Trail, continuing on to Saddle Peak. Meet 7:15 am Pacific Palisades rideshare pt (first parking lot on right on Los Liones after turning on Sunset) or 8:00 am at Mile marker #1 on Stunt Road. From Mulholland Highway and Las Virgenes Road, head east 4 miles to Stunt Road. Turn right and go to the #1 mile marker and dirt parking lot, with telephone pole bumper on the right. This is a back country hike: medical form required. Med forms can be downloaded from URL bitly.com/scmedicalform or will be available at the trailhead.

Bring: Bring water, lunch and hiking shoes.

Additional Directions: In going on a Sierra Club outing you are potentially on a trip with individuals vaccinated and unvaccinated. It is your choice to attend the outing knowing this information. The leader can not and should not reveal the status of participants vaccination or reject a participant based on their vaccination status. You are welcome to wear a mask if that makes you comfortable. If someone is experiencing any possible COVID symptoms or is sick, they should not attend the outing. The participant is responsible for contacting the leader to report a positive COVID test. Leaders will provide participants with their contact information. Leader will report as an Incident Report to the Sierra Club.
