Introductory beginner's Backpack South Kettle Moraine

Escape civilization with out being far from it. Join us for a moderate, 4-5-mile hike each day through rolling glacial moraine hills in nearby Wisconsin while reviewing backpack skills, food and equipment. Deposit includes two breakfasts and one dinner on the trail, campsite reservations and other expenses. Deposit is cost of the trip $40. DNR Vehicle fee $11. Moderate hike, beginner pace, first day is 9-mile hike, second day is a 5-mile hike. through rolling glacial moraine hills in nearby Wisconsin. while reviewing backpack skills, food and equipment. Friday night camping is optional at Pine Woods campground. Trip begins at the trailhead Saturday morning at 9:00 AM. Saturday camping is at Backpack Shelter 1 north of Eagle. Deposit includes breakfasts Saturday and Sunday morning and one dinner w/ dessert Saturday night, campsite reservations and other expenses. Deposit is cost of the trip $40. DNR Vehicle fee $11.
