You don't have to be an expert to be great at community outreach!
You don't have to be an extrovert to be great at community outreach!

That's right - tabling is for anyone who wants to introduce Sierra Club to their community. Tabling is "the act of setting up a table in a public place, in order to provide people with information" (Cambridge Dictionary). You've probably seen tables at all kinds of public events, from street fairs to Pride festivals, conferences to ballparks. Sierra Club loves to be out there meeting new people and we want you to get involved!

This training session will teach you the basics of how to table, including how to effectively communicate with the public, best practices for setting up and managing the table, and how to deal with challenges and conflicts that may arise during an event.

Trust us - tabling is a ton of fun!
