A strenuous 13 miles, 2500' loop hike from the Wendy Trailhead hike down Sycamore Canyon returning Old Boney Trail with lunch at Danielson Monument. Meet at the Wendy trailhead. Directions to the trailhead: From the Ventura Fry/Highway 101 in Newbury Park exit on Wendy Drive. Drive 2.7 mile south to Potrero Road. Park in the parking area straight ahead, across the road. Additional Directions: In going on a Sierra Club outing you are potentially on a trip with individuals vaccinated and unvaccinated. It is your choice to attend the outing knowing this information. The leader can not and should not reveal the status of participants vaccination or reject a participant based on their vaccination status. You are welcome to wear a mask if that makes you comfortable. If someone is experiencing any possible COVID symptoms or is sick, they should not attend the outing. The participant is responsible for contacting the leader to report a positive COVID test. Leaders will provide participants with their contact information. Leader will report as an Incident Report to the Sierra Club.
