O-2: Pacific Crest Trail – Crater Lake National Park Backpack Trip #1

Trip covers PCT miles 1753.4 to 1821.9. Strenuous, but moderately paced, 70 miles, 5 days. Average 14 miles per day. Average 2,000' elevation gain and 1,500 elevation loss per day. After the backpack trip, one day will be spent exploring Crater Lake National Park using our personal vehicles. We will camp at Mazama Village Campground in Crater Lake National Park on Saturday, 7/19, Thursday, 7/24, and Friday, 7/25. Group will share expense of shuttle van.

O: Pacific Crest Trail – Crater Lake National Park Backpack Trip in Oregon. Start in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, hike  through beautiful Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, Fremont-Winema National Forest, and Crater Lake National Park. Trip covers PCT miles 1753.4 to 1821.9. Strenuous, but moderately paced, 70 miles, 5 days. Average 14 miles per day. Average 2,000' elevation gain and 1,500’ elevation loss per day. No layover days. After the backpack trip, one day will be spent exploring Crater Lake National Park using  personal vehicles. We will camp at Mazama Village Campground in Crater Lake National Park on Saturday, 7/19, Thursday, 7/24, and Friday, 7/25. Group will share expense of shuttle van. Sign up early. Trip does not qualify as a WTC Experience Trip. Backcountry outing; medical form required. Signup Restrictions: Group size limited.

Cancellation Policy: Costs include shuttle van and campground fees. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the trip, you will be asked to pay these fees of approximatley $80.
