The 2025 legislative session is underway, and the decisions made at the state Capitol will have lasting impacts on Texas communities and ecosystems. That’s why the Sierra Club Lone Star Chapter and Austin Group are bringing advocacy straight to you - no suits, no Capitol offices, just good conversation, great beer, and meaningful action.
On Wednesday, March 26, from 5:30 PM to 8 PM, join us at Alienated Majesty Books in Austin, TX for a Sierra Club Texas Pop-Up, a community-driven event designed to make legislative engagement easy, accessible, and fun. All Texans are invited to connect, take action, and ensure their voices are heard. Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to write letters, make calls, or send emails to their legislators while enjoying community, interactive activities, refreshments, and a welcoming environment. To make advocacy even more rewarding, participants will receive thank you gifts and special prizes for taking action.
This event is free and open to all, whether you're a longtime advocate or just getting started. Bring a friend, get comfortable, and be part of the movement to protect our communities and environment - one conversation, one letter, and one call at a time.
