Mark Earth Day by joining the Great Waters Group in cleaning up our rivers for the Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Cleanup. Help us keep plastic and more out of our environment.  Each year, about 4,000 volunteers pick up about 100,000 pounds of trash from the Milwaukee watershed! 

GWG will be back at our sites on Lincoln Creek with Nearby Nature at "Hopkins Hollow."

We'll be at:
* 35th and Glendale, the end of the demonstration trail (site captain: Victoria); register here 

* 34th and Courtland, just south of Silver Spring near the tunnel (site  captain: Karen) register here 

Please sign up at the links above. As the overall organizer, Milwaukee Riverkeeper is handling the registration and waivers. Please sign up in advance so they know how many trash bags, gloves and T-shirts to provide.   

​​​​​​If you need a site with more even ground, Nearby Nature and Northwest Side CDC will be at the Bee Bus sign site at 35th and Congress and Nearby Nature will be at McGovern Park.

Or if you prefer to stay closer to home, Riverkeeper has more than 100 sites to choose from on the Milwaukee, Menomonee and Kinnickinnic rivers.  Please pitch in for Earth Day!
