Join us for a scenic hike along the Spring to Spring Trail at Pismo Preserve! We’ll meet at the trailhead at 9:30 a.m. to begin our adventure. The Preserve is located at 80 Mattie Road on the eastern side of Highway 101.
🗺️ Directions:

From the south: Take Exit 191B for Mattie Road and continue past the off-ramp to the Preserve entrance.
From the north: Take Exit 191B for Price Street, turn right on Pacific Coast Highway, then right under the freeway and left on Mattie Road.

Parking is available near the trailhead, but it fills up quickly on weekends. If needed, additional parking can be found across the highway on Pacific Coast Highway. If you're coming from the north, you'll find a parking lot on the right before the freeway underpass. From there, it’s a short uphill walk to the Preserve. There’s an underpass connecting the two parking areas, so please plan to arrive 10 minutes early if you need to use the overflow parking.

Distance: 3.4 miles
Elevation Gain: 488 feet
Difficulty: Moderate
Terrain: Rolling hills with stunning coastal and inland views

We’ll gather at the restrooms near the trailhead at 9:30 a.m. for a brief introduction before hitting the trail.
📝 Important Notes:

Dress in layers
Bring 3 liters of water, snacks, a hat, and sturdy shoes
Rain cancels the event
No dogs
