Paddling 101: Learn More about Kayaking

Join us for, Paddling 101: Learn More about Kayaking, as we hear from Allysa Szymanski, Program Coordinator at The Forge, in Lemont. She will tell us about the best places to kayak in northeast Illinois, especially for beginners and intermediates. She will also share with us her best kayaking tips. And well also learn about low-cost boat rentals in the area. After the program we will be informed about important environmental bills in the state legislature. May is a big time for advocacy since many bills are voted on in the spring.

Additional Directions: To attend the meeting, go to the Frankfort Public Library at 21119 Pfeiffer Road, at the southeast corner of Lincoln Highway and Pfeiffer Road in Frankfort. Pfeiffer Road is about a mile east of LaGrange Road on Rt. 30/Lincoln Highway.
