Love the Lands Letter Writing Party
To kick off our Arizona Public Lands Action Week, we are hosting a letter writing party, where we will be writing hand-written letters to members of our Congressional delegation asking them to defend public lands and to tell the Trump administration hands off our national monuments and other important public lands.Their actions put at risk thousands of acres of lands, plants and animals, including endangered species, and the significant cultural values of these areas. It also puts at risk the waters associated with the monuments, something that is particularly precious in our arid state. These lands are significant Indigenous lands and they should engage with the affected Tribes in conserving them.
