Let's get together for a memorable family-friendly summer picnic at the Cabrillo Waterfront Sports Complex, located in San Pedro right on the beach!

This is a celebration of ALL of the supporters who make the Angeles Chapter a vibrant part of the Sierra Club!

Come meet the new Chapter Director!

Doors will open at 11:00am
Bring your picnic and enjoy the ocean views. We’ll have a Membership Marketplace set up indoors where you can experience some of what the Chapter does. You can browse and bid on terrific auction items. Join in some games and family-friendly activities. Go for a swim in the pool or take a walk down to the tide pools. Find a quiet shady area to rest or play in the sunshine. Meet new friends and say hello to long-time Sierra Club pals. Share your favorite hiking story, sign up for a future hike!

Pool will be open from 12:00pm-2:00pm
Pool Pass required for all swimmers - advance purchase suggested. Signed waiver required - we will provide waivers to sign at the event. Youth under 14 are required to have an adult over 18 present in the pool area (pool pass not required if not swimming). Swimmers who wish to enjoy the "deep end" of the pool must complete a brief safety test with the lifeguard on site.

Event ends at 4:00pm (please have your picnic area cleaned up by 3:30).

Camping overnight is a fun option but must be booked independently of this event. The Angeles Chapter cannot reserve a campsite on your behalf nor guarantee camping availability. If you would like to reserve a campsite, please contact the facility directly:

Cost: $25 for adult (18yrs +); $15 for youth (under 18 yrs)

Bring: Picnic blanket, personal food/beverage/serveware, beach chairs, sunscreen, swim suit and towel (if you want to swim).

Additional Directions: Alcohol is prohibited on the premises.
