2025 SPS Sierra Campout Weekend

Add to Calendar 2025 SPS Sierra Campout Weekend

The Sierra Peaks Section has reserved 2 campsites over the weekend of July 18-20 at French Camp campground, located near Tom's Place off of Highway 395. Each campsite has room for 6 people and 2 cars. (We will look into to finding locations for extra cars). Saturday night we'll all meet up at the campground for a Potluck Happy Hour starting around 6 pm. We hope to provide ample opportunity to socialize and hang out with fellow climbers. Preference will be given to members of the Sierra Peaks Section Slack community and the SPS Sierra Peaks Climbers Group. As we get closer to the event, SPS outings will be posted. Make sure to check the SPS Website at https://www.sierraclub.org/angeles/sierra-peaks/outings-schedule for newly added outings. Once youve found the hike(s) youre interested in attending, contact the respective outing leaders directly for status and specific details.Please contact Kathy at kathrynarich@gmail.com to reserve a spot at one of the campsites and if you have any questions.
