Walk in the Woods at Cedarville State Forest
Let's go explore Cedarville State Forest while the mountain laurel is blooming. We'll walk through a variety of forest habitats, including a recently-harvested areas and some lovely streamsides. We'll learn about the role of our state forests and the African-American workers who built Cedarville. This is a mostly easy walk along natural-surface trails. It's fairly flat with a few short inclines. There may be fallen branches to step over and muddy patches. We'll walk about 4 miles and be out about 3 hours.
