Hiking and Hops Outing at Rocks State Park and Fall Branch Brewery

Join Sierra Club for another Hiking and Hops outing,
whereby we visit a nearby brewery after our hike (optional).

NOTE!!!!!  This is one of our more vigorous hikes.  It is not too long but it is steep and goes up and down quite a bit.  Please wear appropriate shoes and consider bringing hiking poles as they really help!

SCENIC ALERT!  This hike is during the height of mountain laurel bloom season.  This combined with scenic overviews, hiking alongside class III rapids makes this a hike not to be missed!!!

Cost: Free but please consider making a donation to BICO, Sierra's arm that supports inner city youth by taking them out into nature.

Date: June 7th, 2025
Time: 10:00am-2:30 pm
Location: Giant Food Parking Lot: 1401 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014

CHILDREN over 8 are welcome if accompanied by a legal guardian.

DOGS: welcomed, but must be leashed and waste picked up after.

Hiking poles and hiking boots are not required but always a good idea.  Susquehanna has lots of hills and poles help. Laced, closed toe shoes are required. Hat, bug spray and sunscreen suggested if needed.

TICK warning:   Protection strategies include: treating clothes with Permethrin, wearing long pants tucked into socks and wearing a hat and long sleeves, insect repellent, and of course performing a tick check afterwards is always suggested.
