Join Anacostia River Keepers for a riverboat tour of the Anacostia River. Learn about plastic pollution and take in the scenes. This river runs through, Maryland, DC, flows into the Potomac River and eventually, into the Chesapeake Bay.  

These tours educate the public about the Anacostia River watershed, including its human and natural history, the threats it faces, and what solutions are being undertaken to help the river realize its full potential as an invaluable asset for the communities along its banks. Anacostia River Keeper Skipper Tray will lead the tour.

• Driving directions: Search directions to “Anacostia Park Boat Ramp” at Anacostia Park or to 1500 Anacostia Drive SE, Washington, DC. This will get you close to the dock and adjacent parking lot.
• Public transit directions: It's quite a long walk from the Anacostia Metro station, but there is a Capital Bikeshare very close to the dock.
