Indian Boundary Hike and Swim
This is a nice family outing at the lovely Indian Boundary Lake which features an easy, 3.8-mile hiking trail around the lake. We will meet at the US Forest Service Picnic Pavilion in the Indian Boundary Recreation Area and hike together around the Lake. This loop trail is on a hiking/biking trail through the forest along the lakeshore, with only minor ups and downs - very suitable for children or adults with limited endurance. After the hike, we will picnic and swim at the broad, sandy beach on the west shore of the lake, which has a great view of beautiful Flats Mountain to the east. Fishing or paddling are also options.
