Want to take a hike and do so in a more environmentally friendly way? Then come on out to this amazing transit to trail hike. The Bustang bus we will be traveling on will be the 8 a.m. from Denver Union Station. We will start the hike at 10:30 a.m. from the  trailhead. We are aiming to return to Denver Union Station around 4:15 p.m. 

The Peaks Trail proceeds from Frisco, CO to Breckenridge, CO. We will be going one way. The one way trail is around 8 miles with around 900 feet of elevation gain. As far as high altitude hikes go, it is not an especially challenging one with mostly moderately graded elevation. Link to trail here (We will be starting at a different trailhead than AllTrails shows. Please meet at Miners Creek Trail Head).

At the end of our hike, will take the free Summit County public transportation back to the Frisco Transit Center and from there board the Bustang back to Denver. (If you chose to drive and parked at the trailhead, you can get off early at the Miner's Creek Trail Head instead of going all the way to the Frisco Transit Center.)

Please sign up for this if you:
- Have hiked this year already at elevation. This is not a beginner hike.
- Will bring sufficient food, water, clothing, sunscreen, etc for yourself
- Have enough time for this hike
- Are excited to incorporate public transportation into your hiking experience!
