RIVERSIDE CITRUS STATE HISTORIC PARK ALL-ABILITIES STROLL. Join us for a half-mile stroll for all abilities -- adults (including adults using walkers / wheelchairs / scooters), and children (including children in strollers) at the beautiful, historic, and educational California Citrus State Historic Park. We will explore part of the state park on broad paths and conclude at the museum, which includes informative exhibits about the American citrus industry's start in Riverside. MEET: California Citrus State Historic Park (meet at parking area in front of museum). BRING: money for entry ($7 per vehicle), water, snacks, hat, walking/hiking shoes. TIME: 9:00 AM. We will enjoy the morning outdoors, beautiful views of Riverside and the groves, and the excellent museum. Many different citrus trees are labelled, and there are exhibits throughout the park, as well as in the museum. Dogs welcome outdoors; must be on 6-foot leash. ELEVATION GAIN: up to 25 feet. LENGTH: one-half mile or more (depending on group consensus).
