Hike the Losco Regional Park

Let's try again. Come hike the easy Red, White, and Blue trails of the Losco Regional Park. This will be a 3.1 mile loop trail that meanders through the lush greenery of this peaceful 210 acre park. There is lots of shade and soft pine needles to walk on. There are roots and other tripping hazards, so be prepared. There are ample, no fee parking spots. Upon entering the park, drive past the first parking lot, go over several speed bumps and park in the second parking lot. You will pass a large, green dumpster on the left. That is where the trailhead is located. The bathroom is located at the second parking lot. Meet at 8:45 at the trailhead. * Help the environment by following these tips: Bring your water in a reusable container instead of a single-use plastic bottle. Use sunscreen free oxybenzone and octinoxate. These chemicals are extremely harmful to coral reefs, as well as being hormone disruptors in humans. Sierra Club maintains a safe space agreement between participants, leaders, volunteers, and staff. They want to support everyone and exploring, enjoying, and protecting our natural environment, and hateful and dangerous behavior will not be tolerated. We don't want to deny participation in these outdoor programs, and we will always say no to racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, impairment, and disruption. We request that all participants cooperate with the outings leaders direction to ensure a safe and enjoyable outing for everyone.
