O: Tue Moderate Hikers/Stunt Rd to Red Rock Canyon
Moderately paced, 8 mi, 1,800' gain hike. We will go up the Calabasas Pk Motorway to Calabasas Pk; down into Red Rock Canyon; up and down the Boy Scout Trail, then have a shaded lunch on the Red Rock Canyon floor. Meet 8:30 am at the Stunt High Trail parking area (PCH w 8-1/2 mi from Sunset Blvd. to Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon Road, N 6.4 mi (or 3 mi S from Ventura Fwy) to Mulholland Hwy, E 4 mi to Stunt Rd, turn R, go 1 mi to parking area on R). Use Google maps and the destination "Stunt Road & Calabasas Peak Motorway." This is a back country hike: medical form required. Med forms can be downloaded from URL bitly.com/scmedicalform or will be available at the trailhead.

Additional Directions: In going on a Sierra Club outing you are potentially on a trip with individuals vaccinated and unvaccinated. It is your choice to attend the outing knowing this information. The leader can not and should not reveal the status of participants vaccination or reject a participant based on their vaccination status. You are welcome to wear a mask if that makes you comfortable. If someone is experiencing any possible COVID symptoms or is sick, they should not attend the outing. The participant is responsible for contacting the leader to report a positive COVID test. Leaders will provide participants with their contact information. Leader will report as an Incident Report to the Sierra Club.
