O: Tue Moderate Hikers/ Latigo Canyon to Corral Canyon Out & Back
Moderate 8 mi 1850' gain hike along the BBT from Latigo Cyn Rd to the end of Corral Cyn Rd and back. Meet 9:00 am at the trailhead. Use Google maps and the search term "Backbone Trail Access at Latigo Canyon" to drive to the trailhead. If you take the 101 Freeway, you will be taking the Kanan Rd S exit; driving past Mulholland Hwy; turning L onto winding Latigo Cyn Rd; and looking for the small dirt parking area on the L at the BBT crossing, Lots of creek crossings, trees, shade, birds, peace and quiet along this beautiful single-track route. This is a back country hike: medical form required. Med forms can be downloaded from URL bitly.com/scmedicalform or will be available at the trailhead.

Additional Directions: In going on a Sierra Club outing you are potentially on a trip with individuals vaccinated and unvaccinated. It is your choice to attend the outing knowing this information. The leader can not and should not reveal the status of participants vaccination or reject a participant based on their vaccination status. You are welcome to wear a mask if that makes you comfortable. If someone is experiencing any possible COVID symptoms or is sick, they should not attend the outing. The participant is responsible for contacting the leader to report a positive COVID test. Leaders will provide participants with their contact information. Leader will report as an Incident Report to the Sierra Club.
