O: Tue Moderate Hikers/Kanan Dume to Buzzards Roost
Moderate 8 mi rt, 1400 ft gain hike on BBT past Upper Zuma Falls then to Buzzards Roost (2500 ft). Meet 8:30 am at Newton Canyon trailhead lot (Kanan Dume Rd 4 mi N of PCH, just past 1st tunnel on L or 8 mi S of Ventura Fwy on R just before 3rd tunnel). Additional Directions: In going on a Sierra Club outing you are potentially on a trip with individuals vaccinated and unvaccinated. It is your choice to attend the outing knowing this information. The leader can not and should not reveal the status of participants vaccination or reject a participant based on their vaccination status. You are welcome to wear a mask if that makes you comfortable. If someone is experiencing any possible COVID symptoms or is sick, they should not attend the outing. The participant is responsible for contacting the leader to report a positive COVID test. Leaders will provide participants with their contact information. Leader will report as an Incident Report to the Sierra Club.
