Join us for a scenic hike at Harmony Headlands State Park
.
🗺️ Directions:

• From the south: Take Highway 1 north. Trailhead parking is approximately 5 miles north of Cayucos on the left
• From the north: Take Highway 1 south.  Trailhead parking is approximately 3 miles south of Harmony on the right

We will assemble in the parking lot and walk approximately 1.5 miles along the trail through the grasslands to the bluffs There is a portable restroom next to a small historic ranch house near the beginning of the trail. Hopefully, wildflowers will still be on display. We will then walk along the bluffs and experience the beauty of the coastline and ocean.  We will hike back through the grasslands to the parking lot.  The trail is fairly flat and easy.  It should take us approximately 2 hours at a leisurely pace.

• Distance: 4.3 miles
• Elevation Gain: 278
• Difficulty: Easy/Moderate
• Terrain:  coastal marine terrace grassland

We’ll gather in the parking lot near the trailhead at 9:30 a.m. for a brief introduction before hitting the trail.

📝 Important Notes:

• Dress in layers
• Bring 3 liters of water, snacks, a hat, and sturdy shoes
• Rain cancels the event
• No dogs
