Meet old friends, make new ones, warm up your appetite, and enjoy spectacular views of the rugged coastline and ocean.  This is being held prior to the Annual Sierra Club Picnic at Shamel Park. Although participation in the Picnic isn't mandatory for the hike, we hope you will join us for this fun day. The trails are relatively flat and easy. We should complete the hike in less than an hour.
We will proceed on Windsor to the Bluff Trailhead at the north end of Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. There is plenty of parking along Windsor and a few spots at the trailhead. We will gather there, then follow the Marine Terrace Trail and return along the Bluff Trail.

🗺️ Directions:
Take Highway 1 north to Cambria. Turn left onto Windsor Boulevard. At the 4th stoplight, turn left onto Windsor Blvd (not Moonstone). Follow Windsor straight to Shamel Park.

🥾 Trail Details:

Distance: 1.8 miles
Elevation Gain: slight gain
Difficulty: easy
Terrain: level trail that runs between rolling grasslands

We’ll gather at Shamel Park parking lot 9:45 a.m. for a brief introduction before proceeding to the trail head. You can drop your picnic food off before going on the hike

Bring 3 liters of water, snacks, a hat, and sturdy shoes
Rain cancels the event
No dogs
