O: Chantry Flat to Sturtevant Camp. 8 miles R/T 1900 Elevation Gain. Come join us as we hike up Big Santa Anita Canyon to Sturtevant Camp the last remaining trail camp left in the canyon. Big Santa Anita Canyon has a rich history of being a beautiful place to hike but has been closed for the past several years due to the Bobcat fire. Signup Instructions: Meet 8:00 am at Chantry Flat. From Arcadia drive up Santa Anita Ave. to Chantry Flat six miles. We will meet in the lower parking lot.

Bring: Bring sturdy footwear, hydration, snacks, lunch, layers, sun protection, and a filled out medical form to show the leader.

Signup Restrictions: If you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone who has recently (within the past 10 days) been sick from or tested positive for COVID-19, please do not join this trip.

Carpool: Sierra Club will not assume responsibility for any carpool transportation risks.
