We will be hiking through a mix of woodlands, wetlands, and open meadows, offering a tranquil setting for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Named in honor of Louellen Woughter, a dedicated biology professor, the preserve stands as a testament to the importance of environmental education and conservation.

Our hike will explore the diverse habitats within the preserve, providing opportunities to observe local flora and fauna, and to appreciate the natural beauty of this unique area.
