NOTE: There will be a sign at the entrance of the park stating that the trails are closed--the park staff have made it clear that this does not apply to our group and they will be happy to escort us along the trails for this Outing. Do not be confused by the sign, we will be meeting by 5:30 at the gravel parking lot, first right after you enter the park!

Join us on Wednesday, May 28th to hike the Lake Crabtree County Park trails which are slated for closure and development at the end of the month. We will be meeting in the Floodplain parking lot, the first right after you enter the park at 5:30PM, and doing a 1-1.5 hour hike in a loop around the trails. We will be accompanied by park staff who will be able to guide us and talk about the history of the park, the trails, and their pending closure. 

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for hiking, and bring water and appropriate attire for the weather. We will provide a cooler with water, some snacks, etc. Please be aware that the trail is not closed for our exclusive use, and that others may be using the trails including for biking activities. We ask that all attendees be respectful, safe, and considerate of the needs of others!
