O: Salt Creek to the Beach, With Beach time

O: Moderate paced, 6-7 mile r/t, 600 ft gain. We will be hiking Salt Creek Trail from Chapparosa Park to Salt Creek Beach and Back. Trail is paved & descends gently to Salt Creek beach. Enjoy valley views of Salt Creek, Salt Creek Beach, the Ritz Carlton, & St. Regis resorts. About half hour minimum will be spent relaxing at the beach before the return trip to Chapparosa Park. Meet at Chapparosa Park in Laguna Niguel, near the end of Chapparosa Park Rd. There will be a long break at the half way point. Bring snacks, sturdy shoes, 2 quarts water, sun screen. Directions: take Crown Valley Parkway, Turn left on to Golden Lantern, right turn onto Chapparosa Park Rd. got to end of road near the baseball fields.
