Pennsylvania seriously lags behind the rest of the country when it comes to the clean energy transition, with current standards requiring that only 8% of our electricity come from renewable sources.
What can be done to promote clean energy development? In the next episode of the Clean Energy for All series, we'll unpack and analyze Governor Josh Shapiro’s Lightning Plan. This package of six bills includes policies to accelerate renewable energy development, reduce energy waste, limit climate-disrupting pollution, and offer tax credits for energy projects.
The Lightning Plan is the most significant energy policy to be introduced in decades, so let’s take the time together to learn about its potential impact on Pennsylvanians and what we can do to ensure its passage during the current legislative session.
As Governor Shapiro has said many times, ‘Doing nothing is not an option.’
