Tornado Damage Neighborhood Clean-Up Near O'Fallon Park

We will be doing neighborhood clean-up (removing downed trees, brush and debris). When entering the park tell the police that you are a volunteer for Sierra Club and we are meeting in the parking lot. Sierra Club will provide loopers and a couple of chainsaws. If you want to bring tools, you can bring a snow shovel, a scoop shovel brooms and dust pans.

Meet at the O’Fallon Park Rec Complex YMCA, 4343 W. Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63115, Coordinates: 38.68332, -90.22304. From I-70 West, exit east on Adelaide; go north on Florissant and exit at the YMCA. Meet at the YMCA parking lot on the BACK side of the parking lot opposite of the YMCA building.

Moderate difficulty

All participants must sign a waiver.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a hat and gloves, insect repellent, sunblock, 3 quarts of water, snacks and a sack lunch.
