We will hike the North Bank Trail, starting from Tredegar St., to Byrd Park, where we'll take a short break, then cross the river and return via the Buttermilk Trail and Belle Island. Total distance will be 6.5 miles, with a total time of about 4 hours. This is a moderately strenuous hike due to the distance and some rocky, hilly terrain. We will be walking with a brisk pace in order to finish on time, and so the hike is not suitable for young children.
