We will hike the North Bank Trail, starting from Tredegar St., to Byrd Park, where we'll take a short break, then cross the river and return via the Buttermilk Trail and Belle Island. Total distance will be 6.5 miles, with a total time of about 4 hours. This is a moderately strenuous hike due to the distance and some rocky, hilly terrain. We will be walking with a brisk pace in order to finish on time, and so the hike is not suitable for young children.

Level: Strenuous
Cost: Free
Bring: Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for covering some muddy and rocky places on the trail. Bring water, a snack, and any personal items your need.

Additional Directions: Meet at the North Bank Trailhead on Tredegar St. (at the Belle Island Parking Lot). The lot may be full, in which case you can park up the hill, on Second St.
