Description:
Are you a leisurely hiker? Do you stroll up hills or take lots of photos? Do you linger to soak it all in? This hike is for you! Enjoy a “soft” hike along a richly forested little creek nestled in the heart of Eden Prairie. The 3.3-mile lollipop trail rambles beneath a sun-dappled green canopy suspended on towering trees. The trail has some short hills, but we’ll be hiking at a relaxed pace and will take plenty of time for water breaks and to catch our breath!

What is soft hiking? Soft hiking means that hiking doesn’t need to be a difficult, challenging, fast-paced activity. The goal is to take your time and make the most of the experience.

Hike rating:
Moderate - mostly flat, unpaved, rough uneven ground or stairs. (could be ice, roots or rocks)

Any specific gear or food/water needs:
Footwear appropriate for hiking is recommended. Also binoculars/cameras - this is a great spot for birding and spotting wildlife! Bring water and bug repellent!

Level: Moderate
